Dr. Dara Rutley

ABOUT ME
DR. DARA RUTLEY, affectionately known as 1st Lady Rutley or Dr. D, served in many positions in corporate America. She served as church administrator for Berea Family Tabernacle of Faith Church for the past 20 years, which she co-founded with her husband in December 1991. In 1996, she was ordained as assistant pastor. In 2012, she received her Doctorate of Divinity from Destiny Christian University, and has been a member of AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors) since February 2014.
Dr. Rutley's labor of love and dedication to advancing the Kingdom of God has touched the lives of many over the past 20 years. She serves as sisterhood chairperson, Christian women and marriage counselor, hostess/facilitator as well as keynote speaker of annual Women's Conferences and Women's Day Services, and a teacher of God’s Word.
Dr. Rutley personally experienced God’s healing power through broken relationships and knows first hand about the power of prayer and intercession. Therefore, she carries a burden and mandate to aid the entire body of Christ in the healing of broken relationships. Inner healing is her lifelong passion.
Dr. Rutley celebrated another milestone with the publishing of her first book entitled, The Secret To Successful Relationships, which was released February 9, 2013. Many doors opened for her through The Secret To Successful Relationships. Her book created a platform for international exposure through various radio and television interviews, capturing audiences on TCT (Total Christian Television), Michigan Alive, Atlanta Live and The Word Network.
Dr. Rutley married “the wind beneath her wings,” the love of her life, Bishop Rosezell Rutley in 1978. She is the mother of five adult, God-fearing sons, mother-in-love to three lovely daughters, grandmother of six beautiful grandchildren and a godmother to a host of godchildren. She resides in the metropolitan area of Detroit with her family.
After 20+ years in ministry, Dr. Rutley has no thoughts of slowing down.
